Startup Guide is a publishing and media company that produces guidebooks and online content to help entrepreneurs navigate and connect with different startup scenes across the world.
When Sissel (Startup Guide co-founder and CEO) contacted me, she mentioned that some things were changing fast at Startup Guide. To help accomplish some of those goals, they wanted a new website to reflect their brand and company.
In total, we were 3 team members, 1 developer, 1 designer (me), and a project manager.
From the home page, users can access all main areas of the website. On the above the folder section, we have a short introduction to the company with a dropdown of the available cities. If the user selects a city from the drop-down, a city details page is shown.
The city page allows users to discover more about the guide and the city. Every city has its own color on the guide cover so decided to apply a lighter version of the color to the background and call-to-actions of each city page.
"When we started working with Diogo, he immediately felt like he was part of the team! He always makes sure he understand the problem we are trying to solve and is ready to test multiple solutions before he finds the right one! He not only creates great interfaces but he also makes sure that we are building the right product and feature for the right people!"
